Pep Pods is a husband and wife entrepreneurial team who transformed our hobbies into a business (like entrepreneurs tend to do). We both have a background in owning and running separate businesses, so we took that knowledge and experience and applied it to our most recent passions…peptides and 3D printing!
We are both lifelong learners that are never afraid to take on a new challenge. Pep Pods was created because common vial storage solutions lacked some of the creative ideas we wanted to have for our own storage containers. Many creators that existed in this space, simply took a free 3D model they found on another website and just tweaked it. While that was fun to do ourselves when we first started, we quickly realized after making a few storage solutions, that they suffered from a major flaw of structural weakness. The 3D printing community tend to do as much as possible to reduce the use of PLA, because most people in the 3D printing space are just hobbyists. When printers start making their storage solutions, they’re starting with a hobbyist perspective, and those boxes tend to have weak points. Addressing those was the first goal of Pep Pods to create a mechanically stronger storage option. This means our cost goes up, but you get a higher quality, sturdier storage solution.
Simply making boxes stronger was just the beginning of our vision to deliver something better. Applying designs that have not been done before, creating new geometric structures on the boxes, and even creating 3D textures, are all creative things we are doing to elevate what Pep Pods has to offer.
A labor of love, we enjoy taking our creativity and ideas (and those of our customers) and continually trying to do something innovative. If you have ideas about custom designs, different storage options, or even completely new geometric concepts to play around with, we would love to bring that idea to life.
